News alert: Sony TV scraps the plan of KBC!

Sony TV's much awaited reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati will be missing from Television this year.

The much loved and appreciated reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati on Sony TV featuring Amitabh Bachchan, brings its new seasons every year with more zeal and zest. But with the latest development, we bring you exclusive news about the new season of KBC to get scrapped for the year.

Our reliable source states that, "The last season of Kaun Banega Crorepati did not turn out to be good on the rating chart, even the channel is lacking behind with empty time slots, so they have decided to scrap the new season of KBC for this year."

However, there is also a buzz going on about KBC moving back to its original channel that is Star Plus. "Sony TV is not happy with the response of Kaun Banega Crorepati 8 and so is not keen to continue the show on its channel. The talks are on for Star Plus to regain its show KBC back by next year," says our source.

Tried contacting Gaurav Seth, Senior V.P. and marketing head of Sony TV, did not get any revert.

To those uninitiated, KBC has kick started its journey with Star Plus; however, after three seasons, it shifted to the channel Sony TV.

They got it all wrong. The original thrill is now lost with all those specials and movie promos and stuff. Even the episodes are dragging with sob stories. On top of it they moved it to the weekend slot which started the downfall. Come on...who has the time to sit and watch it for 1 and a half hours on a weekend?
What are they doing these days? Normal Sony only shows CID 7Am to 7PM! Even inspite of being a CID fan I am bored of this overdose. They don't show repeats of previous day's soaps. Those who can't watch it at night don't even have a chance of catching up during the day. Their strategist should first be fired as s/he knows nothing about what the viewer wants.
I miss those lovely soaps of the 90s they used to show...Just Mohabbat, Saaya to name a couple.

Who watches KBC these days no charm left coz first few episodes it will be fine then they bring only celebrities on the show.

sony pls pls stop it i cant control my laugh.i cant take it :).how many times have said sony you sucks in trp stop blaming your shows.you people are emotionless.cunning only you want trp which you will never get.because of your stupid promotional strategist.very good im happy finally kbk is back on sp.now watch out the trps for kbk on sp eagerly waiting for the show.

in this year sony ruined many shows humsafars which i loved the most,itti si khushi,muh boli shadi,tum aise hi rehna,hum hai na dont know how many.idiots soon you will doom sony.you played with the emotions of viewers time to pay back :)

Great!! Exactly what the viewers need. Now SONY =CID , Crime Patrol,Aahat followed by CID Crime Patrol Aahat on repeat in sequence. Sony should be christened as CID
