New girl to enter Kartik's life in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'

Will she pull Kartik and Naira further apart?

Star Plus shpw Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will soon see a new entry in the form of a new girl in Kartik's (Mohsin Khan) life. Her entry is likely to bring a chaos in the lives of Kartik and Naira (Shivangi Joshi), thereby bringing in a lot of drama in the show.

Entering the show will be Kundali Bhagya actress Mrinal Singh who debuted with yet another of Rajan Shahi's show Tere Sheher Mein. She will be playing Ashi's character in the show.

Ashi will be very close to Kartik, and will be a best friend of hers. The character will be full of life and a chirpy one.

We contacted Mrinal who confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I am doing the show. It is always a pleasure to work with DKP production. And I am excited to be a part of the show."

I'm fed up of watching Suwarna sulking n being so harsh. Everytime she is shown, i switch channel. Now with this Aashi, she'll be on the forefront. I would love if cvs could focus a bit more on Naksh n keerti. Far better than watching angry kartik on his spree to hurt Naira n please his momma.

is it just another character and a friend in Kartik's life or a 'kebab mein haddi'?

I think she is there to make naira jealous and probably put some sense in to kartik's head
