Prachi Desai, who went on from being a popular TV actress to try her luck in films, has refuted rumours that she is heading to reality show "Bigg Boss 9".

Prachi Desai, who went on from being a popular TV actress to try her luck in films, has refuted rumours that she is heading to reality show "Bigg Boss 9".

"The news is completely untrue and baseless. I was never approached by 'Bigg Boss' (officials) and I am not a part of it," Prachi said in a statement on Tuesday.

The actress, whose TV show "Kasamh Se" made her a known face, ventured into filmdom with a small part in "Rock On!!". She even featured in "Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai".

"Bigg Boss 9" is being hosted by Salman Khan. The names of several celebrities have been floating around as participants in the new season, where Salman has guaranteed some "double trouble".

Burfi is a sweet , beautiful film but has been copied by many many films so it should not be official entry in any case. They are going to reject it. The acting of all the actors is amazing !!! It's a feel good story but I just feel if it was not copied would have felt much better which is not actors fault but director and producer and who claims it's his story !!!!!

I agree with Ghosh's claim. Regional cinema has almost been ignored. The article is not discrediting Barfi its merely pointing out the flaw in the selection process.

yyy shud Barfi not be gud for Oscar..it's got the lovely Indian hill station, it's got a gud feel about all the characters even if they got some kind of disability...u don't even feel sorry for them, it's got a rich Indian family who is ashame of their autistic daughter n tried to kill her...it's got a pretty rich Indian Bengali girl who chose luxury life than her disable lover ...n it's give u a feel gud portrait of life in India than always showing the bad side of India, the poor side of India, the caste difference of India etccc...n this Indian boy of 70's despite any help around at that time manage to live a normal happy life n learn to fall in luv with life n a normal girl ...anyway just feel gud n enjoy the indian sweet called Barfi...
