Neliima Azeem: Shahid & Ishaan faced a lots of challenges because of my failed marriages

Neliima Azeem, the mother of actors Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, has spoken about the problems and obstacles she encountered while upping her children as a single mother. During the conversation, Neliima also discussed her broken marriages and how she became the family's primary earner after her divorce. She also shed light on how her two sons were affected by her divorce.

She expressed in an interview with India Today that she was very loud and proud that both her sons did experience a great deal of challenges because, regrettably, both her marriages failed and there were reasons, which she doesn't wish to touch in here.  

 It's a thing of the past, and everything is fine now. So Shahid and Ishaan went through those ups and downs, as well as breakdowns. And then she took command. She then exclaimed, 

"So I was mostly earning There was a time when I was overly preoccupied with (work). I had to go to the sets and work long hours because I was in charge of the show and the breadwinner. There were highs and lows. My children shone brightly through it all. I give them an extra badge for that, because they could have gone differently, and they could've been losers as a result of it"

She further added that they could have had thousands of issues that would have kept them from accomplishing anything. Above all, they have excelled in their respective fields. They have matured into wonderful people. 

Neliima have been a part of films like Sadak, Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro, and Sooryavansham. She also essayed the role of Shahid Kapoor's onscreen mother in his debut film Ishk Vishk.
