Sab TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah did witness some rather unanticipated and surprising changes recently which included the likes of Anjali Mehta and Roshan Sodhi being replaced by new actors. Where Neha Mehta and Gurucharan Singh played the roles respectively, they were replaced by Sunayna Fozdar and Balwinder Singh Suri only a while ago.

While Singh's exit was termed to be for taking care of his ailing father, it was Mehta's exit that caused the most noise. it was said that Mehta quit the show owing to having differences with people associated with the show even though she has not named anyone and only shown respect for producer, Asit Modi but there have certainly been issues.

However, a latest report suggest that right after Mehta quit, she considered coming back on the show and even called Modi for the same. In an interview, she opened up on the same as she said, "Yes, that happened. I wanted to consider my return. But I want certain decorum and conduct to change on the set. Majority and pressure works in today's times but then, I shouldn't be looking into that and spoil my mind."

When asked if there was groupism against, her and exactly bothered her, she said, " Sometimes, and on some matters, silence is the best answer. I am not here to say that I was a victim of competition, jealousy, power games and a pinch of ego that makes people blind. If I do, I would be playing into their hands. I have received immense adulation from people, millions must be getting inspired by me. My responsibility says I can't say things to inspire wrongly. Plus, if you dig into the details, nobody will admit that he/she is wrong."

She was also asked that it was her father who wanted her to reconsider and call Modi. Opening up on that she said, "That's right. Even I respect Asit Modi a lot… I have same regards for all the producers whose shows I have done till date. I said 'Sir, this is it. If this is the thing that we want to negotiate and talk, it is fine'. And what then if you are told that you have to handle certain ego issues but if you want to go, you should still go because I have someone else whom I can hire, who is a better prospect for me as I have to pay him lesser? It could happen to anybody. So I am gracefully moving on."

Finally, when asked if she has seen the show after Fozdar entered, she said, "I know the show. But to answer your question, no I haven't. My best wishes remain with the show. However, I have great respect and dignity for my work. If they and the audience wish so, I will happily continue. I am ready. I am ready to sail in the waters with my wings open. Open the gateway for me."

To be very honest, I haven't moved on. I really want her, back on the show. The new one is good too, but Neha is whom I have seen since I was a kid. She is ATM for me. Even if she is slightly over expressive, it's not an issue, because she is really sweet. Moreover, only a classical dancer can actually understand the expression of another classical dancer... Hope for the best... Though Sunaina is good too... She is really good. But, for this particular role, it's only Neha Mehta for me...😊

Sunayana is the better Anjali. No more overacting, no more idiotic expressions.
