Neha Kakkar's Melbourne concert has turned into a major controversy, with the singer and the organisers blaming each other. Neha, who broke down on stage after facing backlash for arriving late, accused the event organisers of mismanagement. However, the organisers have now hit back, calling her allegations false and claiming they suffered a huge financial loss due to the event.

Organisers Respond to Neha Kakkar’s Allegations

After Neha blamed the company for being unprofessional and running away with her payment, the organisers posted a financial breakdown on Instagram. The post, which included their debt calculation, claimed they were at a loss of $530,000 (approx. ?4.25 crore).

In a Facebook Live session on March 28, an event management representative called Neha's show a "disaster." He stated that they had made all necessary arrangements, including booking five-star hotels and sending multiple cars for the singer and her team. He further said, "The allegations are completely false. We are in big debt after the show. She should be the one paying us… it was a mistake having her on board."

They also shared a note on Instagram, stating, "We will be back with all the proof and details of what happened with the Neha Kakkar show. We will expose everybody."

What Happened at Neha Kakkar’s Melbourne Concert?

Earlier this week, a video from the concert went viral where Neha was seen crying on stage and apologising to fans. The audience was reportedly upset as she arrived three hours late. Some fans even booed her and shouted ‘go back’.

In the video, Neha addressed the crowd emotionally, "You have been really sweet. Itni der se aap log wait kar rahe ho (you have been waiting for so long). I hate it. Maine life mein kabhi kisi ko wait nahi karwaya (I've never made anyone wait in my life)." She added, "Aap log jo mere liye itna keemati time nikaal ke aaye ho (you all took out your precious time for me), I will make you all dance."

Neha Kakkar’s Response to the Controversy

After facing criticism, Neha took to Instagram to share her side of the story. She revealed that she and her team were mistreated by the organisers, claiming they "ran away with her money" and didn’t provide even basic amenities for her band.

She wrote, “Do you know our sound check got delayed by hours because the vendor was not paid? The organisers stopped picking up my manager’s calls because they were running away from the sponsors.” The singer also clarified that she performed for free at the Melbourne concert for her fans, despite the poor arrangements. With both sides presenting their arguments, the controversy continues to stir debate among fans and the music industry.
