Neetu Kapoor remembers Rishi Kapoor ahead of Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding

On Thursday, Neetu shared an Instagram Story, a photo of her henna-adorned hands. In the photograph, Rishi Kapoor's name was visible on her index finger.
Neetu and Rishi Kapoor married in January 1980 and welcomed their first child, Riddhima Kapoor, in September of that year. Their second child, Ranbir Kapoor, was born in September 1982. Filmmaker Subash Ghai revealed recently that Rishi Kapoor was planning a lavish wedding for Ranbir in December 2020. However, the actor passed away due to cancer in April 2020.
Neetu fondly remembered her late husband on the morning of Alia and Ranbir's mehendi. She captioned an Instagram post from their engagement day, "Fond memories of Baisakhi day (heart eyes emoji) as we were engaged 43 years ago on 13th April 1979."
Neetu confirmed on Wednesday evening that Ranbir and Alia will marry on April 14 at Ranbir's Bandra home Vastu. She also extolled her future daughter-in-law, declaring, She is too sweet. Indeed, may God bless them.
Ranbir and Alia began dating while working on Ayan Mukerji's upcoming film Brahmastra. Ranbir revealed his relationship with Alia in a May 2018 interview with GQ. He later stated that they intended to marry in 2020 but were forced to postpone the ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic.
