Produced by optymistix, Crime Patrol is all set to introduce a new story with the lead actress of Zee TV popular weekend show Neeli Chhatri Wale.

We are talking about Disha Upadhyay, who has been loved as Bobby in the show. She will soon be portraying the role of a DCP for the upcoming episode of the crime based show. It has been an amazing experience for Disha playing a cop, adding to which she said "I love playing real characters and after doing comedy and emotions, I really wanted to do a challenging character that I havent done before."

"Optymistix people have always approached me with the best roles. And for crime stories, I love working with them. This is my 5th story in Crime Patrol, after a long break of 3 years. As I was busy doing Neeli Chhatri Wale, couldn't give my dates to this episodic show," the actress expressed.

The story will be on a real murder case that took place a few months back in Gujarat. The story will showcase a young business man Bhavesh who is murdered in his own house while his wife and kid were in the room. The investigation will be started by the DCP, Seema Patel (played by Disha Upadhyay). She herself looks into the investigation and how she solves the mystery case is what the episode is all about.
