Neeharika Roy who debuted in the world of television with Zee TV's show 'Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan' has been winning hearts with her performance in the show. The 21 year old recently aced the ongoing 'Cold storage' track in the show and has been winning appreciation for the same.
India Forums got in touch with Neeharika to talk about the same and the actress poured out some unseen details about shooting the track. Neeharika revealed, ''Well, it was not exactly a cold storage room. It was a dummy. And the room was not cold at all, In fact it was super hot. i was sweating profusely throughout. Shooting for the track was tough, but the track came out brilliantly, so it was all worth it. I was wearing prosthetic makeup too. Everyday, we would take around 1 and a half hours to get ready. For the prosthetic makeup, everyday alcohol would be used on my face. This has literally ruined my skin, I have pimples all over. Even thought the overall experience was amazing, shooting in such a hot space and my skin suffering were the major drawbacks.''
Further, we asked Neeharika about the scene being inspired from Janhvi Kapoor starrer 'Mili' and whether she drew inspiration for the same from the actress. To this, the actress said, ''I saw Mili last year around October. And at that time itself, I manifested that I want to do something like this. So when this track came in, I saw the film once again. But you know what, we have done a lot of things that you will not see in Mili. For the shoot of Mili, Janhvi was provided a set like the cold storage, there were ACs for her. But our AC was of no use because the set up we had was very hot. I shot for the track in so much heat, sweating all the time. She had a few dialouges whereas I had to recite monologues. Everyday after the packup, my throat and head would hurt badly. Janhvi had to put in less efforts as compared to me. Because I was not even provided with a cold storage set up, I had to make up my mind to shoot in such hot circumstances. My eyes were swollen. This is the drawback of shooting in artificial set ups, it affects you physically. And on the top of it all, I have severe cleanliness issues. So for an entire month when I had to shoot in the same clothes, with blood stains and the same prosthetic makeup everyday, I would feel disgusted. This track went on for a month.''
When we asked Neeharika that her efforts had finally paid off and that by the end of the track, the show had finally managed to get in the Top 10 list, the actress said, ''I am very happy about this. I feel amazing. We are on the number one spot on Zee TV. Everyone has been calling us 'Toppers,' but I am scared too. Because, what if, in the upcoming weeks we are not able to sustain our spots? Anything can happen. So, I am not celebrating this milestone enough.''
