Bollywood’s A-list actresses - Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, and Rakul Preet Singh were recently summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection to Bollywood’s drug nexus. The actresses were spotted entering the NCB office and grilled for hours. Meanwhile, Deepika, on the other hand, was quizzed about her alleged drug-chats with manager Karishma Prakash.
Now, recent reports have suggested that the agency forgot to take signatures of the actor's post interrogation.
An ETimes report stated that NCB forgot to take signatures of the actor's post questioning and hence, the officials paid a visit to Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan's residences in Mumbai for the needful.
The report also mentioned that as Sara wasn't at home when the officials visited her residence, her staff signed the paper on behalf of the actress.
If we are to go by the reports, NCB has claimed that Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh have given similar statements.
ETimes mentioned that according to the NCB the actresses were reportedly cornered by the agency and were therefore speaking the same language.
For the unversed, Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Shraddha Kapoor were grilled by the NCB on Saturday, i.e. September 26. Rakul Preet Singh was questioned a day prior. The actresses have reportedly maintained that they do not consume drugs. Although, none of the actresses has received a clean chit and the agency will be summoning them again for further investigation.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Singh, and Shraddha Kapoor’s mobile phones were also seized by the agency.
