NCB officer on Ananya Panday being investigated: "This does not mean she is a culprit or being investigated”

The Narcotics Control Bureau team was recently photographed on their way to the home of actress Ananya Panday. The central agency initiated this search after submitting chat messages between Aryan Khan and an "upcoming Bollywood actress" to a Mumbai court on Wednesday, claiming that both were discussing drugs.

The NCB officers arrived at the gates of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's residence late Thursday afternoon. An NCB officer told the media that Ananya had been served with the summons. ''The investigation is going on. When NCB officials visit a person or location for questioning that does not mean the person is a culprit or being investigated. There are several procedures being followed.''

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta recently took to Twitter to discuss what it means to be a Bollywood celebrity and a father at the same time. "Being a celebrity, being a star, being from ‘Bollywood’ means your emotion, your torment and your concern as a father become a matter of public consumption, heartless abuse and ruthless judgement.” he wrote. 

He also tweeted, "I don’t know or have never appreciated the term Bollywood. What I do know is that this term and the individuals connected to it are a favourite punching bag and diversionary vehicle for a few divisive, abusive and inefficient set of cowardly invisible people".

Today SRK made  first public appearance since his son Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with a drug case.
