Nawazuddin’s wife Aaliya’s alleged Lover Rubbishes Relationship Rumors, calling them Baseless and Ridiculous

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya has been making it to the headlines after she filed for divorce from her husband. Aaliya, who now goes by the name Anjana Kishor Pandey has been quite vocal about it, and her lawyer stated that a legal notice has been sent to Nawazuddin via WhatsApp and email on May 7.

Recently, another report found its way to the internet which linked Aaliya with Peeyush Pandey - former business head of Viacom’s. Several reports hinted at their alleged relationship and now he has rubbished the rumors of their link-up, calling them baseless and ridiculous.

The report stated that Aaliya has put a new display picture on her WhatsApp which shows Aaliya and her rumored close friend Peeyush together. 

In an interaction with Bombay Times, Peeyush Pandey said that he himself found out about the divorce through media reports. 

I am the scapegoat here. These link-up rumors are completely baseless and ridiculous! Why am I being dragged into this? I have nothing to do with this. People around them know about their feud and what is going on between them (estranged relationship). I want to stay away from it. Why is my name and reputation being tarnished? I am in a relationship with someone, and this sort of rumor is extremely distasteful.

He further mentioned that luckily, his better half knows about the truth since she is also Aaliya’s friend and that he will consult his lawyer about safeguarding his interests.

He also clarified about the WhatsApp profile picture and said, “We all click pictures. It’s a normal thing to do. If there are three people in the picture and you crop it and use just two people, you can claim whatever you want to.”

Peeyush Pandey then revealed that he met Aaliya through Nawazuddin Siddiqui and that he had once worked closely with Nawaz three years ago.

Meanwhile, Nawazuddin Siddiqui along with his family have been put under home quarantined after they recently traveled to their hometown in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh from Mumbai amid the nationwide lockdown. 

However, the star wife and her lawyer are yet to receive a response from Nawazuddin.
