Nawazuddin Siddiqui's wife Aaliya confirms heading for official divorce; intends to fight for custody

Aaliya, the wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has confirmed that their personal issues will come to an end soon, as they have started the process of getting a divorce. Nawazuddin has reportedly offered a settlement, but Aaliya has not responded to it yet. According to a report from Etimes, she intends to fight for the custody of their two children, as Nawazuddin has also filed for it. 

Aaliya revealed that their children want to stay with her, and she will not let them go to their father. Recently, their daughter Shora observed her first roza during Ramadan, and Aaliya expressed happiness that her daughter chose to follow Islam. 

A few weeks ago, Aaliya had alleged that she was forced out of Nawazuddin's lavish Andheri bungalow. However, reports claimed that the property belonged to Nawaz's mother and he had no authority to prevent anyone from entering the house.

When asked about their current abode, Aaliya informed, that she is currently residing in a rented apartment, which she was supposed to leave by March 30. But she requested for a one-month extension as she is unable to locate a new place to stay. Due to this dispute, several residential societies are refusing to lease her their property.

Aaliya also disclosed that both of her children are unable to attend school because of financial difficulties. Nevertheless, she has enrolled them in various classes to keep them up to date with the latest educational developments.
