Nawazuddin Siddiqui has established himself as one of the most formidable names in the entertainment industry, rising to the top with back-to-back stellar performances. The actor has had successfully carved a niche for himself and for him 2020 has been a good year since all his films released on OTT and got a good response. However, he also asserted that 2020 should not be counted as a year all, it should be completely deducted.
This year, for his stupendous role and noteworthy performance in Raat Akeli Hai, Nawazuddin was felicitated with the title of ‘Best Actor’ by a leading platform.
During a recent interview with ETimes, the actor summed up ‘2020’ and even shed light upon his resolution for 2021.
“Waqt aata hai, khatam hone ke liye,” said the Manto actor as he narrated his lessons from 2020. He also mentioned that one must never complain in life, and be positive despite whatever is happening around you.
“I hope that we don’t have to face anything like this in the future, but we must also learn our lessons from the present time,” added Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Sharing his resolution for 2021, the 46-year-old actor said, “Thanks to 2020, I have decided not to run behind materialistic things in 2021. This year has taught us that materialistic things are of no use. Life is important, so it is better to respect each day that you live and keep the environment happy. One can live a happy life in very few things also.”
Adding another feather to his cap, Nawazuddin won the prestigious black lady for his role of ‘Jatil Yadav’, a police officer portraying complex emotions in Raat Akeli Hai. The film streamed on a popular OTT platform earlier this year.
The talented actor has always impressed us with his performances in the past and ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ was definitely, the most prominent one this year.
