Naseeruddin Shah, Aditi Rao Hydari and Aashim Gulati roped in for Zee5’s next?

India Forums has an exclusive update about one of the upcoming web-series for Zee5. Sources tell us that the web-series is a grand one and has an elaborated cast and crew. According to a little birdie, the project will be produced by renowned production house Contiloe Entertainment. The series is speculated to release on Zee5.

Sources have it that web-series might be titled ‘Taj’. It will revolve around Emperor Akbar. We’ve also learned that veteran actor Naseerudin Shah is being considered to essay the role of King Akbar.

Highly placed sources also revealed that Aashim Gulati and Aditi Rao Hydari are speculated to play Shahjahan and Anarkali respectively in the project.

Naseeruddin Shah is a renowned name in the Bollywood industry and has done OTT projects like Kaun Banegi Shikharwati and Bandish Bandits. Aashim was seen in ‘The Holiday’ and Hostages while Aditi has made a mark in Bollywood movies along with digital project ‘Ajeeb Dastaans’ among others.

Contiloe Entertainment is known for producing several TV shows. It has also produced Zee5’s popular web-series ‘State of Siege: 26/11’.
