After winning zillion hearts with his portrayal as Veer Singh in Colors show Uttaran, Nandish Singh Sandhu, will soon be seen in a Bollywood film titled Family Of Thakurganj. So when our little birdie got this news to us, we decided to reach out to the actor to know more about this career move.

How did Family Of Thakurganj land in your kitty?

I had a common acquaintance with the producer of the film. That person suggested my name. Since the timing was right, it all fell into place. I met the creatives, director and it just clicked instantly. I liked the script. They sent me the script and all and the director felt that I was apt for the role.

As an actor you've done both, big and small screen, which medium do you enjoy the most and why?

As a matter of fact, I enjoy both. Anything that is new is a little more exciting for me. That said, films are relatively new to me, so I am enjoying that at the moment, but I've enjoyed my share of Television as well. And I will continue to do so. Whether it is films, TV, web series or theatre, any medium where I get a chance to entertain, I would love to do it. TV was something where I started from, so it definitely holds a special place. I had lot of fun doing television also and now I am enjoying this progress into films.

In a gist, can you tell us what the film Family Of Thakurganj is about?

As the name suggests, the film is a story of a family based in a place called Thakurganj. This family is in a good space; mentally, financially and emotionally, but suddenly something strikes them and there is a situation between two brothers, the elder one is Jimmy Shergill and I am playing the younger brother. Soon after that differences crop up. Now there are difference of opinions and approach between these real brothers, which leads to arguments between the two, but there is still lots of love among the brothers. There are more twists to come, something major happens in the family that the younger brother has to take charge of the family and protect everyone. That's it, I can't tell you more. All I can say is watch the film.

Any message you would like to give to your lovely fans, who've been by your side always?

Well.. I want to send out tons of gratitude to all the fans out there and also my well wishers. I would like to tell them that I will never disappoint them. I will make sure whatever I do I will keep entertaining them.
