'Nach Baliye 9' Finale Part 2 - Culmination of The Dance Journey

More guests coming in and taking in the limelight away from the actual celebrity couples and one such random appearance that it seemed forced.

The culmination of a two and a half month journey was, as you probably would have expected by now, a predictable and dud affair. More guests coming in and taking in the limelight away from the actual celebrity couples and one such random appearance that it seemed forced. Anyway, here are the noteworthy moments from the show-

Shantanu Maheshwari-Nityaami Shirke's SHOCKING Elimination

I have only written shocking as it will surprise the fans or viewers who had no idea about this happening. The exclusion of Maheshwari and Shirke from the race already created a stir in the negative way where celebs like Nia Sharma and Mrunal Thakur expressed their shock on the same. So, not much to add to that except just another reminders on how dance-reality shows sadly operate.

Anita Hassanandani-Rohit Reddy's Performance

After Asha Parekh's entry, we got back to business and that started with Hassanandani and Reddy giving their performance which was sweet and a merry way to end their dancing journey.

Vishal Aaditya Singh-Madhurima Tuli's Performance

Unlike last night, tonight had back-to-back contestant performances where after Reddy and Hassanandani's act, we saw Singh and Tuli's performance. While their act was also good, judge Ahmed Khan's visible sadness on how their journey has ended topped off the moment.

Raveena Tandon's Tribute To Asha Parekh

Tandon has probably been one of my least favorite judges in the history of the dance reality show but that doesn't take away anything from why many love her for what she does best - perform. All set to pay a tribute to Asha Parekh, Tandon was fantastic as not only she danced amazingly well but did a lot more with her expressions reminding us she is a performer, who probably shouldn't have been a judge.

Aly Goni-Natasa Stankovic's Elimination

After Maheshwari-Shirke's ouster, this blow seemed rather softened. Again, when it comes to truly performing and having a good graph, Goni and Stankovic lead those charts. Alas! That wasn't enough to get them in the Top 3 and there were eliminated.

Sooraj Pancholi's Blink-And-Miss Appearance

One thing is calling celebrity guests and one thing is giving them negligible screentime. Pancholi seemed to be on a marathon where he had a pitstop for seconds to talk about the film and continued his run. Yes! It was less than two or three minutes even.

Bhumi Pednekar-Kartik Aaryan-Ananya Pandey's Appearance

Again. More guests coming in. However, what seemed rather absurd about this one was how Pednekar actually has one film releasing next week in the form of Bala but she had to come in and promote her film, Pati Patni Aur Woh that releases next month. No problems with advanced promotions but the fact that one of the stars of the film has one release impending next week and she is talking about one that is over a month away makes little sense.

Prince Narula-Yuvika Chaudhary's Act

The winner couple's act was probably the best performance amongst the whole lot. From props to stunts and good songs, it almost seemed sealed from the act that they were going to win it all. Also, it went probably unnoticed by many but it was endearing to see Narula's friends from Bigg Boss 9-Double Trouble days, Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai coming in to support them. Even better? They were sitting next to Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao thus making it a little Bigg Boss 9 reunion of sorts.

Vishal Aaditya Singh-Mahdurima Tuli's Elimination

The most unsurprising elimination of the lot as them winning the big prize wouldn't have made any sense to many and even though they had the most eventful journey overall, them coming to the Top Three was a feat in itself.

The Winning Moment

It all finally ended with the outcome we knew but it would be weird not to place this moment as things end with Nach Baliye 9. Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary lifted the trophy much to the happiness of many out there but much to the chagrin of a few.
