Mythological Shows Mahabharata and Ramayana to Re-Run on TV?

Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, as a precautionary measure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21 days lockdown across the entire country. Amidst this, many shows are relying on its episode banks or are re-running it’s previous episodes. 

While Colors decided to bring back Bigg Boss 13 on its channel, ZEE TV too will be airing the reruns of the episodes as well as its digital content of ZEE5 and ALT Balaji on the channel. It was also reported earlier that Star Plus may air the shows of Hostar on the channel. 

Now, as per the recent reports by the media, Indian Mythological shows Mahabharata and Ramayana might also make a comeback on Television. Shashi Shekhar, the CEO of Prasar Bharati also hinted towards the same on his social media account. In the tweet, Shashi mentioned that they are working on the retelecast of these two shows with the right holders and will update about the same shortly. Have a look at the tweet below.
