Young actor Ruhana Khanna, who is all set to be seen as a widow Ganga in &TV's soon to be launched show Ganga, is making her TV debut with this show. While Ruhana has acted in a few episodics and done commercial ads, little girl will be seen sharing screen space with talented actors in this daily soap.

In conversation with us, Ruhana speaks about her character, modeling life and much more...

When did you take your first step towards modeling?

I was four years old and studying in nursery when my dancer teacher recommended my name for participating in a show for kids. I won the title as Global Kids Fashion Show. That was the start for my modeling career.

What all project have you done till now?

I have done many print ads and TVCs  of many popular brands namely ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Colgate toothpaste, Rasna and many more. Not only this, I was also a part of an episodic Savdhaan India - India Fights Back.

Tell us something about your character?

Ganga is an intelligent and innocent girl who is a widow. It's a challenge to play such a serious role and so my concentration is more on the expressions to portray this role finely.

You are working with many well-known actors, so how is your bonding with them?

It is superb; I am enjoying a lot on the set as everyone is very good. We have fun together while shooting and it is always a playful environment.

You have started shooting for the show, so would you like to share any moment?

Yes, there was a scene which we shot in Banaras when I was asked to take a dip in the holy river Ganga. Though it was scary as the water was very chilled but I enjoyed the shot. Also once, I was asked to sit on a swing and suddenly it broke and I fell down on the floor. But luckily I did not get hurt and I was well after that.

As you have taken up the profession of acting; what do you want to do in future?

I want to work in a project with Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.

TellyBuzz wishes Ruhana a very bright future!
