Must Watch: Pooja Gor's Moving TedX talk on 'Changing Era' will stir your soul

Pooja Gor is not any small town girl anymore, she is going strong and is having dreams to shine brighter than the stars in her eyes. Starting with TV, web series and then debuting in the big world of Bollywood, Pooja has proved her mettle at every step. However, this time Pooja has spoken about it in a way that all the girls who have dreams but are scared to spread their wings, will get the power to try at least once.

Pooja recently spoke at the TedX event and the topic was 'Changing Era'. Not like any other speaker who charges right at the topic, Pooja took her time to hit the chord. She narrated her own story and brought to life the era that has changed. From the times when a dial up connection for the internet was needed to a time when Pooja herself sent her audition clip through the internet ( which eventually led her to the big break), Pooja painted the canvas of our minds with her journey.

From the tiny struggles to the major comforts, Pooja mentioned how the era has magnified not only the scope of work but the opportunities to fly. Not just doctors or engineers, one can dream of being a travel blogger or a Youtube artist, all thanks to the changing era. She made sure to thank all the brave hearts who dared to take the road less traveled and brought in the real change.

Pooja didn't just bring the much needed motivation in us to use the changing era to fly high, she also mentioned that there are a few things which still haven't changed. Our society is in dire need to change the unchanged if it truly wants to grow. She talked about the problems girls face during their menstrual cycle, the social stigmas, religious outrage and many other things which need our contribution to change.

She very clearly mentioned that she really hopes to see an era with Gender equality, with safer society, with equal opportunities and a reality as beautiful and wonderful as our dreams. The era is always going to be changing as the change is the only constant. But here's hoping that with the change in the era, may we all have compassion for other human beings, may we have the passion for the work we do and may our purpose as a generation be to take this society towards a more brighter and a more evolved era.
