Another week and another take at the some of the hottest charts in B-Town at the moment!
 
10. Challa

Film:Crook: It's Good To Be Bad
Singer(s): Babbu Mann, Suzanne D'Mello
Music: Pritam
Emraan Hashmi's latest flick, Crook makes an entry into the charts this week!  First up is Challa which takes it's inspiration from an original Gurdaas Maan folk song (title being namesake), with a hint of a modern twist using Suzanee D'Mello's westernized vocals.  It'll be interesting to see if this track picks up pace with the masses! 
 

9. Lafangey Parindey

Film: Lafangey Parindey
Singer(s):  Ronit Sarkar
Music:  R. Anandh
This track seems to be like mar-mite for many listeners.  You either love it or hate it and at Bollycurry, we're definitely team 'love' at the moment!  Some interesting use of soft rock and a lot of masti if that's what you look for in a song!
 
 
8. Suno Aisha

Film:  Aisha
Singer(s):  Amit Trivedi, Ash King
Music:  Amit Trivedi
Suno Aisha persists clinging onto the charts. Entertainingly catchy lyrics and a beautiful background score makes this chic song worth listening too! Javed Akhtar's lyrics are intelligible of the story center protagonist, Aisha, and Amit Trivedi has yet again proved himself to be genius with such an amazing soundtrack.


7. Madno

Film: Lamhaa
Singer(s):  Chinmaye, Kshitij Tarey 
Music:  Mithoon
There's no ousting this track for a while! Madno continues it's reign on the charts. The song has very soothing tune in the background and the lyrics are an absolute treat. A gem of a creation, that is impossible to overlook - whatever your taste in music!
 

 
6. Mere Bina

Film: Crook: It's Good To Be Bad
Singer(s): Nikhil Dsouza
Music: Pritam
Combining Pritam's soft-rock genius and fresher Nikhil's soothingly fresh voice (also heard in Anjaana Anjaani ki Kahaani) brings to us this romantic track which promises to be soulful with it's lyrics and something we can easily fall in love with after a few quick hearings!
 

5. Hairat

Film:  Anjaana Anjaani
Singer(s):  Lucky Ali
Music:  Vishal-Shekhar
 Energetic, foot tapping, and crooned by the deep throat raspy Lucky Ali!  This youthful track has quickly caught up with the charts.
 

4. Pee Loon

Film:  Once upon a time in Mumbai
Singer(s):  Mohit Chauhan
Music:  Pritam
The understated lyrics of this track and wonderful sufi feel promise to stay on with the listener long after the music stops playing. Without a doubt the Mohit - Pritam combination emerges a chartbuster yet again!


 3. Tere Mast Mast Do Nain

Film:  Dabangg
Singer(s):  Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shreya Ghoshal
Music:  Sajid-Wajid
 This light romantic tune grabs its spot among the top numbers! Reminiscent of the soothing music not often seen in this era; it would be a crime if this doesn't make an entry on many-a-IPods soon!


 2. Munni Badnaam

Film:  Dabangg
Singer(s):  Mamta Sharma, Aishwarya
Music:  Lalit Pandit
Whilst this may have only be filed away as a decent attempt at an item number by critics, the sizzling number has proven more than its mettle in rising steadily up the popularity charts!  With it's foot tapping rhythm, not to mention Malaika's scintillating moves, Munni Badnam is every bit a public favorite!
 

 1. Tujhe Bhula Diya

Film:  Anjaana Anjaani
Singer(s):  Mohit Chauhan, Shekhar Ravjiani, Shruti Pathak
Music:  Vishal-Shekhar
 The highly anticipated Anjaana Anjaani album has been a winner with all listeners! This week in the limelight is the best from an album of several classy tracks - Tujhe Bhula Diya - that mixes the right amount of sufi music, memorable lyrics, and a folksy kick to ensure repeated listening.
