Munawar Faruqui embarks on spiritual journey, performs Umrah with Wife Mehzabeen

Popular comedian and Bigg Boss winner Munawar Faruqui is currently in Saudi Arabia with his wife, Mehzabeen Coatwala, to perform Umrah. He recently took to Instagram to share a serene picture of Masjid Al Haram, expressing gratitude and offering prayers for his fans.

Munawar also posted a heartfelt caption along with a beautiful picture with his wife, writing,'Duniya ki sabse khubsurat jagah Makkah. Allah sabko yahan bulaye. Aur dua aap sabke liye ki hai maine. Mujhe bhi apni duaon mein yaad rakhna.' (Makkah, the most beautiful place in the world. May Allah invite everyone here. I have prayed for all of you, remember me in your prayers too.)

Recently, Munawar made headlines when he spoke about his private wedding ceremony with Mehzabeen. He encouraged people to avoid dowry and unnecessary wedding expenses. He also shared that he was hospitalized due to intestinal issues just a week before his wedding in May 2024. Despite the challenges, he admitted that marrying Mehzabeen has brought stability to his life.

For those unaware, Mehzabeen was previously married and has a 10-year-old daughter, while Munawar also has a son from his first marriage. Interestingly, reports suggest that actress Hina Khan played a major role in bringing Munawar and Mehzabeen together. Mehzabeen is a mother to an 11-year-old daughter from a previous marriage, while Munawar, who was earlier married to Jasmine, has a seven-year-old son, Mikael. The couple has chosen to keep their wedding private and has yet to share any pictures from their big day.

With the holy month of Ramadan underway, many celebrities, including Aly Goni and Hina Khan, have also traveled to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.
