Sushant Singh Rajput's case is getting intense by the day with Mumbai Police leaving no stone unturned in investigating every small detail that has cropped up so far.
After interrogating several high-profile celebs, production house managers, family members, co-stars and his friends, the investigating team will now be summoning filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
A close source has confirmed to ABP that the Mumbai Police has sent a summon to SLB asking him to appear before the police in the next couple of days for interrogation. Following which, the ‘Padmavaat’ director will soon be called for questioning in Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case and his statements will be recorded.
Revealing further details, the source said that Shanoo Sharma, casting director of the Yashraj Films, will also be called for the second round of questioning. She was called to the Bandra police station for the first round of questioning on June 28.
As per earlier reports, Bhansali had offered his film 'Ramleela' to Sushant before replacing him with Ranveer Singh. Later, he approached the actor yet again for 'Bajirao Mastani' but again he was removed from the magnum opus at the last moment and replaced by RS.
The report further stated that the filmmaker will be interrogated about the same by Mumbai police. Sources claim that Sushant lost multiple big projects due to Bollywood's nepotism gang who didn't want him to work with big banners.
