Ms Bolly Chilli: Spotted Celebs About Town

This week might not have been full of events, but that does not mean Ms BollyChili, meaning moi, was slack in her duty to all you wonderful people. Did you miss me, my darlings? I know our favourite celebs did. Or did not, depending on whether they were hits or misses this week.

Ms BC was all over the place, catching sight of some familiar faces as they were out and about. So many of them seem to be traveling these days. Where are they going, and why hasn't Ms BC been invited? I'm a little insulted, honestly.


Katrina Kaif was one of the few spotted at the airport this week. I have got to say, she sure knows how to travel in style. Her all black ensemble was paired with a light blue jean jacket, and wow, did that look work for the stunning actress. Her blue back pack added another pop of colour, and her hair might have simply been left open, but it managed to look great like always. The sunglasses and the sneakers might have been the only parts of her outfit that just did not work. The sunglasses because they hid her face, and the sneakers because - no, honey, those white shoes just did not go. All in all, not bad, Katrina. I'll give you a 3.5 out of 5 for this one.


On the other hand, I am not sure what Shraddha Kapoor was thinking. Red trackpants? Really, honey? Really? If you ignore the pants, the outfit's not half-bad. The white t-shirt is simple, but fits well. The sunglasses slung on the neck of her t-shirt might not be pretty, but they pull down her shirt enough for a bit of her cleavage to show, and that somehow works, so I'll give her a pass. The grey jacket might seem ill-fitted at first glance, but works with the casual look she seems to be going for. But those pants! Those pants, Shraddha! I cannot forgive them. It brings the entire outfit down, and I have to give you a 2.5 out of 5. Just because of those pants.

Bandra was another hotspot this week. And boy, did I spot a few pretty faces there.


The handsome hunk Varun Dhawan looked good in wrinkled jeans and a dark blue button down shirt. Apparently, that look does it for me. Whew, the fact that the shirt was stretched across his chest and the few undone buttons do the trick. Ms BC likes. I'm not sure about the patches on his shoulders though as they look out of place. But overall, the whole outfit works pretty well with those black high-top shoes. I don't really like the slicked back hair, but I'll let it pass this time and give him a 4 out of 5.


Also spotted in Bandra was the ever hunky John Abraham, who makes even casual look hot. As always, the printed white t-shirt clung to his chest, and I cannot be the only one who got distracted by it. The black pants were loose at the thighs before scrunching up just above his ankles. I was good till that point but Ms BC has never been fond of the whole shoes with no socks look. Ever. Not even for you, John. That takes away a few points - we're going to have to go with a 3 out of 5 for this one.


I also caught Parineeti Chopra out with friends in Juhu this week! I have got to admit, she made that casual look work for her. The dark blue jeans fit perfectly, the light grey t-shirt was not too tight nor too loose; and not many people can rock the open plaid shirt look, but Parineeti pulled it off surprisingly well. It helps that the open plaid shirt was definitely bought in the right size, and the right colour for her skin tone! Reds, whites and greys are always good for someone like Parineeti. Her hair was a little lackluster, but considering she was meeting up with some friends, I'll let it pass. This time 4 out of 5 for how confident and comfortable she looked.

Well, this week was not too bad for our celebs. More hits than misses, and Ms BC is glad. Looks like my words have been reaching the right ears. I'll be back soon with more fashion and hopefully less fashion faux pas. Don't miss me too much, my darlings.
