Modern Love Hyderabad: After Mumbai, this anthology adaptation to release on 8th July

Celebrating the love and appreciation, the Amazon series Modern Love Mumbai received, the makers announced yet another anthology titled Modern Love Hyderabad. The anthology Modern Love will be released on July 8, 2022. Nagesh Kukunoor, Venkatesh Maha, Uday Gurrala, and Devika Bahudhanam's Modern Love Hyderabad will have a bouquet of 6 touching stories that explore the numerous angles, hues, and feelings of love throughout myriad human interactions.

The new Telugu Amazon Original Series, produced by SIC Productions, is inspired by the iconic New York Times column and provides unique, timeless, and relevant love stories set in the City of Pearls. 

The anthology includes, 

1. MY UNLIKELY PANDEMIC DREAM PARTNER – directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, features Revathy and Nithya Menen

2. FUZZY, PURPLE AND FULL OF THORNS - directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, features Aadhi Pinisetty and Ritu Varma

3. WHAT CLOWN WROTE THIS SCRIPT!– directed by Uday Gurrala, features Abijeet Duddala and Malavika Nair

4. WHY DID SHE LEAVE ME THERE? - directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, features Suhasini Maniratnam and Naresh Agastya

5. ABOUT THAT RUSTLE IN THE BUSHES – directed by Devika Bahudhanam, features Ulka Gupta and Naresh 

6. FINDING YOUR PENGUI – directed by Venkatesh Maha, features Komalee Prasad.

Nagesh Kukunoor, showrunner and one of the directors remarked that, unlike New York and Mumbai, which are megacities, Modern Love Hyderabad's allure stems from the fact that it is a city that has seen tremendous modernization in the previous decade or two while remaining true to its multi-cultural heritage. This made for a wonderful exploration into how the city's actual cultural character and social fabric could be featured in these stories of modern love.
