'Modern Family' Star Sarah Hyland Gets Engaged

Sarah Hyland aka Haley Dunphy of Modern Family is now engaged. The actress has been dating former Bachelorette contestant, Wells Adams for almost two years and they have now made their union official where it confirmed via Instagram.

On Tuesday, "That can’t eat, can’t sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff," Hyland captioned a slideshow of photos, showing Adams down on one knee as the pair were on a beach. 

In one of the photos, the actress can be seen with her hand covering her mouth as Adams pops the question. The rest of the photos show the couple embracing and celebrating their engagement. 

According to People, the couple began dating in the fall of 2017 after sharing exchanges via social media. Eventually, Nashville native Adams moved to Los Angeles to live with Hyland. The couple went on to celebrate their one-year anniversary last October. 

Hyland previously dated Shadowhunters actor Dominic Sherwood, and Adams has been featured as the bartender on Bachelor in Paradise after becoming a fan favorite from JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette.
