Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu sued by Upasana Singh for "breach of contract"

Back in 2021 Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu made to headlines when  she won the title of Miss Universe.After 21 hard years, she finally took home the coveted crown. 

Harnaaz was prepared to make her acting debut in the next Punjabi movie Bai Ji Kuttenge , well now seems like the diva has landed herself in a legal trouble.

She is currently making news due to legal issues that have arisen when actress and producer Upasana Singh on Thursday filed a civil lawsuit against Harnaaz Sandhu in the Chandigarh district court for "breach of contract." 

Upasana claimed that despite having signed a contract promising to be accessible both in person and digitally, Harnaaz had now refused to provide dates for the film's advertising. Harnaaz was given an opportunity in the movie by Upasana even though she wasn't the Miss Universe at the time. Further, Upasana said, “Harnaaz was supposed to give us 25 days from her schedule but she did not, we requested her to give us 5 days but she did not." 

She said that she had invested a significant amount of money in this movie and that it had a large budget. Additionally, Upasana has sued Harnaaz for damages totaling Rs. 1 crore. She made Harnaaz the star of the Punjabi movie Yaara Diyan Poo Baran in addition to Bai ji Kuttange.

Meanwhile, apart from Harnaaz, Bai Ji Kuttange also stars Dev Kharoud and Gurpreet Ghuggi and is directed by Smeep Kang. Apart from producing the film, Upasana Singh has also acted in it.
