Mira Rajput Kapoor criticizes e-commerce website; slams them for overusing plastic bags!

When it comes to spreading awareness amongst the masses for saving the environment, Mira Rajput Kapoor is one of the many influencers who make it their mission to inform their followers of the wrongdoings. Shahid Kapoor’s wife recently took to her official social media handle and shared a photo of the stuff she had ordered including the packaging. 

Wondering why plastic bags are used in large amounts for packaging shipped goods, sharing the post Mira highlights the menace of oversized packaging for the smallest of items. Hoping the packers say no to plastic, here’s what the star wife shared:

It's not the first time, the 24-year-old has raised a voice against the excessive use of plastic. Last year the young influencer shared a photo of Juhu Beach, and instead of sand all there was visible was endless amounts of plastic and other nasty, filthy things. 

Sharing the picture she wrote, "To the Million who can see this post. Even a pot of water won't boil just by looking at it; it needs that fire to make it simmer, boil and spill over till someone notices. Let's make a change, clean up our mess, and hear nature's call not to choke her more than she already is. Every year before the arrival of the monsoon, all the plastic that clogs the sea is thrown out by it. 

"This makes it the best time to clean the beach and simultaneously the water. Let's do this together and clean up Juhu Beach. We owe it to our children who play in the sand, the teams that play their football and cricket matches on it, the walkers and the yogis, the dogs that roam enthusiastically and the birds that forage for their feed. 

"Thank you all for all the suggestions you have sent in, people I should get in touch with and your concerned responses as well. Let's spread the word! Calling all concerned citizens, organisations, individuals who can help and help me be a part of this too! [sic]"

A few days back, Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff attended a tree plantation drive in Mumbai. When he was asked to comment about the same, the Ram Lakhan had some radical comments about climate change and emphasized how we should plant trees. 

The 62-year-old actor said that planting trees is everybody’s responsibility and that we need to secure the future of generations that come after us, in his case he needs to think of his son Tiger Shroff and his son after that.

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput tied the knot on July 6, 2015. Theirs was an arranged match, and they have grown as one of the most talked-about couples of Bollywood. Together they have a daughter Misha and son Zain.
