Mika to build a house for the underprivileged Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contestants

Bollywood's most renowned singer Mika Singh who is a part of Zee TV's reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa as a mentor along with Pritam Chakravorty and Sajid- Wajid certainly has deep pockets and a big heart. 

Whenever the singer meets a needy person, his heart melts and he tries to spread smiles through small gestures of largesse. Recently at the auditions of Zee TV's singing reality show, two contestants Hashmat and Sultana captivated jury members and mentors with their striking vocal abilities.

Hailing from an underprivileged family, both the aspiring singers had not been able to afford a formal vocal training back in their hometown Hoshiarpur in Punjab, but with their sheer dedication, willpower and talent, had landed up in Delhi for the auditions. On hearing that Hashmat and Sultana stayed in a single room shanty with 6 other family members, Mika couldn't resist extending a helping hand to the deserving, talented duo and instantly promised to build a new house for their family.

Well, this isn't all! 

Mika Singh also gifted his expensive watch to a contestant and has promised to gift a bike to contestant Deepak, if he makes it to the top 12.

When contacted, Mika said, "Yes, I have promised to build a house for Hashmat-Sultana and buy a bike for Deepak if he makes it to the Top 12. It is very unfortunate that owing to the adverse monetary conditions, budding singers like Hashmat-Sultana are not able to continue their training in music. Being from the same industry and making a living off my musical talent, this is the least I can do for people who are genuinely talented but can't pursue their dreams due to financial difficulties."

That's thoughtful of Mika Singh - clearly a man with soul!
