Miesha Iyer: Ace of Space gave me recognition and Splitsvilla gave me Fame!

MTV's Ace of Space and Splitsvilla 12 contestant Miesha Iyer got into a fun and candid conversation with us at India Forums where she spoke about Splitsvilla, Acting, Equation with Ashish Bhatia, upcoming projects and much more. 

Speaking about spending time in the on going lockdown, Miesha said, "I just want to get back to work more than anything." She added, "I actually stay in Bombay and I'm living with my flatmate. So that's a good thing. For me, going to her room is a whole new different place. We have date nights and movie nights."

She was asked by a fan if things are sorted between her and Akanksha, to this she said, "Yes, whatever we had was during the show and once we went out of the show, of course we spoke to each other. Actually we spoke to each other at the finale itself. It's fine now, we send each other memes all the time."

When asked if given a chance, would she go to Roadies or Bigg Boss, she said, "Roadies, I don't think I'll go as a contestant. But Bigg Boss, maybe."

We asked her if she finds any resemblance between the current situation and the Ace of Space house. To this, she said, "The thing is I honestly feel that this is way tougher than Ace. The thing is in Ace, no matter how much locked up you are, you have so many people. There was so much drama and without wifi there used to be so much entertainment. It was amazing. Just sit back and watch. The best thing at Ace is that we used to get cooked food from outside, so we don't have to cook. All you had to do was gossip, perform tasks and you're sorted."

Talking about her best memory from Splitsvilla, she said, "My best memory from Splitsvilla will definitely be the dance challenge. Winning that dance challenge felt like damn, I could do it. So that was my favorite moment."

A fan asked her if these reality shows are scripted. To this, she said, "I don't think the show is scripted because some people say such things which I don't even even the scriptwriters would write. The rude stuff that they say and these abuses, some of the abuses I've never heard in my life."

When asked her if Acting is on cards for her, she said, "why not, actually could be something very soon in the pipeline, fiction. But now the lockdown happened, so it's been pushed a little but yes, very soon."

Talking about her equation with Bhavya, she said, "In case y'all don't know, Bhatia and I fight a lot. You guys didn't see it in splitsvilla, but we fight a lot. It's mostly me who is fighting with him because of the stuff he says, I get irritated and we start fighting. But then in 10 mins, we're okay."

When asked about what she'll choose between Ace of Space and Splitsvilla, she said, "Ace of Space gave me recognition and Splitsvilla gave me Fame. It's so difficult but I think Ace."

Talking about her upcoming projects, she shared, "There is something which is going to come up during the lockdown but it's going to take a while and I'm working on it. But after the lockdown, there are quite a few things in the pipeline and yes, very exciting things and very different from each other."
