Mere Husband Ki Biwi Box Office Collection Day 2: Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi & Rakuls' Film Maintains a Steady Run

Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh’s latest comedy-drama, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, continues to perform steadily at the box office. The film opened to decent numbers on its first day, but it has not shown a significant rise in collections over the weekend. Despite receiving praise for its entertaining storyline and performances, the movie is struggling to gain strong momentum.

According to early reports from Sacnilk, Mere Husband Ki Biwi earned ?1.5 crore on its opening day (Friday, 21st February). While expectations were high for an increase in revenue over the weekend, the film only managed to collect ?1.65 crore on Saturday, bringing its total earnings to ?3.15 crore.

On Saturday, the film recorded an overall 10.34% occupancy for Hindi shows. The morning shows had a 7.17% turnout, which improved to 13.50% in the afternoon. However, the evening and night shows saw no occupancy, indicating a lack of strong audience pull in later slots.

The film faces tough competition from Chhaava, featuring Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna. Chhaava has been dominating the box office and has already crossed ?300 crore globally, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025 so far. This has impacted the performance of Mere Husband Ki Biwi, which is struggling to draw larger crowds.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced under Pooja Entertainment by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh, Mere Husband Ki Biwi features an ensemble cast, including Aditya Seal, Dino Morea, Shakti Kapoor, Mukesh Rishi, Kanwaljit Singh, Anita Raj, and Harsh Gujral.

The film revolves around Ankur Chadha (Arjun Kapoor), whose life turns upside down when his ex-wife, Prabhleen Dhillon (Bhumi Pednekar), develops retrograde amnesia and believes they are still married—just when he is about to start a new life with Antara Khanna (Rakul Preet Singh). The comedy-drama is filled with humorous twists, misunderstandings, and chaos.
