Thomas Markle, Meghan’s father will be appearing as a defense key witness in a case she has filed against a newspaper. Mr. Markle has sent the court some unseen messages sent to her at the time of her wedding that reveal the troubled relationship between them. When Mr. Markle texted her for being unable to attend Meghan and Prince Harry’s wedding he received a reply that seemed to be from Prince Harry. He was extremely hurt with the reply.
Meghan Markle launched legal action against The Mail last year after it leaked extracts of a letter she sent to her father in August 2018. Meghan accused the newspaper of breaching her privacy, data protection rights and copyright when it published extracts.
The MoS filed a defence to her case in the High Court in London, yesterday, stating that denying her claims and further argued there was a 'huge and legitimate public interest' in the Royal Family, including its 'personal and family relationships'.

The Duchess of Sussex was spotted boarding a seaplane after leaving her $14 million Vancouver Island Home where she spent the entire week holidaying with Prince Harry and Archie.
