Pretty actress Ashcharya Shetty, currently seen as a sister of Yamraj on SAB TV's Yam Hain Hum, feels happy and blessed to have positive people around her and to be a part of the show. In conversation with TellyBuzz, Ashcharya reveals more about her being a part of the show and off-screen rapport with Manav Gohil.
She says, "The character that I am playing on the show is very loving and I love playing it too. This character has added a lot to the show. The role is so good and important that I am enjoying it a lot. This is my first comedy show. I don't get to cry a lot and I can relate to it. This has to be one of my best and most favorite shows. I love the show, it makes me feel content. Everybody is so nice here that we all are there for each other. I am blessed to be surrounded with such big actors like Indresh Malik, Raju Kher, Manav Sir, etc."
On-screen, Ashcharya plays the sister to Manav Gohil but off-screen they are like best buddies and have a blast on sets together. When we asked Ashcharya about her rapport with Manav, she said, "Everyone on the set is like a family. We sit and eat together. We love each other. I am very close to Manav Sir. He is my friend, my guide and my inspiration. He is a gem of a person and a complete package of goodness. Manav sir is the biggest prankster on sets. I am his right hand when it comes to playing pranks on others. Mostly he plays pranks on Indresh (Indresh Malik) and Fenil (Fenil Umrigar). Every day we shoot here is like a paid picnic for us (laughs). Manav sir had been my childhood crush and I have told him too. I was so happy when I got to know that he is going to be my co-star on the show. His teaching is helping me a lot to become a better human being. He is a very chilled out person. I have got so many things from this industry but meeting Manav sir has been my biggest achievement. He is like a teacher to me. To work well, it's very necessary to have a positive environment around you and I am happy and blessed to have such a positive team."
Talking about the roles she would prefer playing in the future, she told us, "I like playing supporting roles over leads. I would love to do negative but whatever roles I will get to play, I will accept it and give my best to it."
Way to go Ashcharya!
