Is this going to affect Soumya and Pari’s life again?
Read on, as our reporter Hiral gets to know more about the two Daughters-in-law of the Parashar Family, Shaily and Nirmala.
Tell us about your character?
I play the role of Saumya’s elder aunt – Shaily. She has come from abroad to attend the Birthday of her father-in-law. Situations take a turn and they are forced to stay on for long at the Parashar House. Shaily hates Pari because she cannot walk properly and wonders why Saumya married her.
How is the story going to move from here?
Well, I cannot reveal more about my role. But I can assure you that it will get interesting as the story unfolds. There will be a cat and mouse struggle for securing the Chairman Post of the Family Company.
How did this role happen?
Well, first of all it's the production house - Rajshri, one of the best you can work with and secondly the show, it's the number one show on Sahara, so who would miss the opportunity?
Does that mean we wont be able to see you in Ek Ladki Anjani Si?
I am not sure. Karishma and I have been talking to the production house there and if something interesting comes up, then only will I take it.
Now moving on, let us take a close look at the youngest daughter-in-law of the Parashar Family, Nirmala played by Supriya Shukla. She was lastly seen in the recently ended serial Jeete Hai Jiske Liye. We remember her as the bubbly bhabhi of Parineeta too. Let us now know more from this actress:
Tell us about your role?
I'm playing Abhay's younger brother's wife. My character is very bubbly, who knows to get her way. She has a great understanding with her husband and they both compliment each other very well and fill in the missing void that each one of them have. This couple has been traveling a lot, they have recently come from Bhavnagar. She really doesn't mind Pari, as she is trying to be very nice to the entire family, just trying to keep all in good books.
How did this role happen?
Well, I was free post Jeete Hain Jiske Liye. I liked the concept of the character that I am playing here. Also, the production house has been so nice. We have so much of fun here and yet everything is so very simple with the cast and crew.
You've recently entered into television from Bollywood. How did it happen?
After Parineeta, I did JHJL and things didn't work out well there. I was surprised that the show was axed. Now i am into this. I only take up assignments if I enjoy them, my ultimate goal is not to become an actor. I do commercials from time to time. I have two kids at home, and I'm coming here to do my work leaving them behind. So if I don't enjoy my work, then what's the point? As long as I enjoy what I'm doing, I'll continue acting.
So have all your eyebrows raised as you think of the future story. Can we smell something fishy here? Are we going to witness a fight over position and property in this serial too? Now what will happen to our adorable Jodi of Ram and Sita - Soumya and Pari? Will their love be engulfed in this battle for positin? Keep watching this space, as we will bring you more news and chit-chats from stars of Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon ki.
