The 90s kids still remember how flirting and crush on a neighbour was portrayed with no vulgarity, indecency and surprisingly in a hilarious way in the form of cult show, Shrimaan Shrimati.
However, one of the prime reasons for the show to be such a success was the brilliant performances of the stalwart starcast that it boasted in the form of Late. Jatin Kanakia, Late. Reema Lagoo, Rakesh Bedi and Archana Puran Singh.
In an ode to recreate the magic, Sab recently launched the remake of the show in the form of Shrimaan Shrimati Phir Se. We don't know about you, but personally, we have found it to be an absolute dissapointment.
And infact, the show recently enabled the replacement of its titular character, Keshav Kulkarni (played by Samir Shah), where it will now be played by Prasad Barve.
In an attempt to enhance the viewership and make things interesting, the show is also set to witness a new entry in the form of actor, Rubin Oberoi, who makes his debut with the show.
Rubin will be entering the show as Keshav's brother-in-law, who would have returned from abroad. He will be seen flirting and getting close with Prema Shalini (Barkha Bisht Sengupta), which, needless to say, will irk Keshav.
This drama should certainly bring the comic element to the show, it desperately needs.
