Mansi Srivastava reminisces the 90's show Shaktimaan!

Shaktimaan was a popular superhero show of the 90's period which aired on DD. It was the first superhero show in India, starring ace actor Mukesh Khanna and Vaishnavi Mahant. The show was a huge success and became hit within no time, it was popular among both kids and adult.

Actress Vaishnavi Mahant who is currently seen in Star Plus' supernatural thriller Divya Drishti, played one of the lead character in the superhero series. She essayed the role of a reporter named Geeta Vishwas, she had a love connection with Shaktimaan.

Ishqbaaaz fame Mansi Srivastava shared a picture of her fangirl moment with her co-star Vaishnavi, reminiscing the 90's show Shaktimaan.

Mansi is currently playing the second antagonist in Divya Drishti. Her character name is Lavanya who is set to get married with Adhvik Mahajan after Mahima (Vaishnavi) forces Adhvik to marry her.

In Shaktimaan, Producer Mukesh Khanna also played the role of Shaktimaan and his alter ego "Pandit Gangadhar Vidhyadhar Mayadhar Omkarnath Shastri", a photographer for the newspaper Aaj Ki Aawaz. Shaktimaan was depicted as a human who has attained superhuman strength and power through deep meditation and attaining control over five elements of life.
