Mahhi Vij on her bond with Bigg Boss 13's Shehnaz Gill

Iconic TV couple Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali were seen supporting Bigg Boss 13's Shehnaz Gill during her stint in the reality show. They went all out to stand by her and handled all the trolls and criticism. Mahhi, who had never met Shehnaz before Bigg Boss became a fan of her by just watching her on the show. In a conversation, the Laagi Tujhse Lagan actress revealed that once when she saw Shehnaz crying on BB 13, she even started weeping.

Talking about her bond with Shehnaz Gill, Mahhi said, "I think not just me, the entire country fell in love with her. Bigg Boss season 13 has been super hit and this is the first time when each contestant had their supporter and had a connection with people outside. I loved Shehnaz and really liked her in the show. In fact, when she cried on the show, I also started crying with her. I can't explain the bond as I don't have words to express it. I really like the girl. I like her brother and they are like family to me. I think Jay and I both were kind of supporting her together."

Not just Mahhi, even Jay was also quite fond of Shehnaz Gill and liked her entertaining personality. The actor said, "I would like to add when BB 13 started Shehnaz was nice. But as I had shared on the show also that Mahhi used to wake up during the night and used to complain why Sidharth and Shehnaz were not talking to each other and I used to get irritated. She used to wake me up in the middle of the night imagine. So, I started supporting the person who was actually against Shehnaz in BB 13. She used to get angry and irritated and I realised that she has developed some kind of bond with Shehnaz. I was amazed that Mahhi who has been in the industry for so long and knows how these reality shows work, how manipulative people can be at times and despite all of these if Mahhi has got attached to her it means Shehnaz has some kind of charm in her. And I had fun meeting her inside the house, in fact when I met her I did not tell her that my wife is her fan and she was even taking care of clothes. But I thought she should know about it from others once she is out of the show." 

Shehnaz was quite touched with Mahhi and Jay's appreciation and when Bigg Boss 13 came to an end, Punjab's Katrina Kaif decided to meet them and visited their house. Shehnaz's picture with Jay-Mahhi's daughter Tara Bhanushali had also gone viral on social media.
