Maheck Chahal on suffering anxiety and moving to Goa

The situation surrounding COVID-19 has been affecting one and all and we have already seen an array of cases how people have tried to get away from the situation but still tackle the deadly virus.

Actor Maheck Chahal has moved to Goa a few months ago. Chahal was suffering from anxiety issues due to the ongoing pandemic and she felt it was best to move to Goa. Talking about it with ETimes TV, Chahal said, “I needed to get out and breathe some fresh air. Goa seemed ideal for me. I felt it was better to move out of Mumbai as I was really scared of the virus and I wanted to live in a place where I could relax and also focus on my fitness.”

She also added how her fitness routine is going and even put on weight in Mumbai. Talking about it, she said, I was scared of going to the gym and working out, so I mainly stayed indoors. I had put on a lot of weight during the lockdown and wanted to get fitter. In Goa, I feel better and have been indulging in outdoor activities like cycling and swimming. Meditation and yoga have also helped me stay calmer and all this prep was important for my next project, too.”

As we know, the actor will be seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi and will leave for Capetown soon as she said, "Now I am fitter and in a position to participate in an adventure-based reality show. It is a bit scary to travel in these times, but they are taking all the precautions. We will maintain six feet distance from the host Rohit Shetty and not eat outside at all. I believe the show must go on and in the pandemic, TV shows have continued shooting and films have released."
