Who can forget how actor Arpit Ranka managed to make a huge mark with his first screen appearance in Star Plus' 2013 epic saga, Mahabharat. Playing the iconic role of Duryodhan, Ranka certainly made a huge mark on the small screen.
Even though, ever since Ranka played Mahabharat, he has started in multiple projects but his last screen appearance is still playing Kans in RadhaKrishn which was over two years ago.
Now, the actor is all set ti make his comeback to the small screen with Zee TV's Brahmarakshas 2. That's right. Talking about it with Times of India, Ranka said, “I like playing negative roles. They have a certain edge to it and as an actor, you get to show various shades of your acting abilities. Moreover, I think my personality is more suited for negative roles. Hence, the casting directors call me for such roles only and I have no complaints about it."
He added, “I am playing the character of a cop and will be seen in a clean-shaven look. During the lockdown, I had gained some weight. So I have shed around 15 kgs. I am really excited about it as the audience will get to see me in a regular avatar and I can’t wait for their reaction."
We wish Ranka all the best for this new role.
