Sriram Nene, a US-born surgeon of Indian descent, was unaware of Madhuri's fame when they started their relationship. She simply told him she worked in films. After dating for a while, they married, ending their long-distance relationship. Because of her fame, Madhuri and her family opted for a private wedding in the US, away from the public eye.

Madhuri and Sriram's sons, Arin and Rayaan, were born in 2003 and 2005, respectively.

Professionally, Madhuri Dixit's latest role was in the 2024 film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,' a horror-comedy where she starred alongside Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Tripti Dimri.
