Amazon Prime Video’s original series Made In Heaven enthralled viewers with a fresh concept and some brilliant performances by actors. The nine-episode series chronicled the lives of two wedding planners in Delhi and how they deal with different kinds of families. The series not only talks about weddings but raises some important social issues and is one of the best Indian original web contents so far. Needless to say, the series was a huge success and viewers are now eagerly waiting for the second season.

Although, the streaming platform hasn’t announced the sequel but sources confirm that season two is under development.

A leading entertainment portal stated that while the second season will remain constant to the spirit of the first season, this time every episode will not focus on a specific wedding while carrying forward the complicated storylines, like the earlier season. However, it'll continue to be inherently entertaining but strong and deeply rooted in our society.

The show features Arjun Mathur, Sobhita Dhulipalia, Kalki Koechlin and Jim Sarbh in lead roles, who will return in their roles from the first season, and a few new faces are also in talks. We hear, Prashant Nair, director of the first season won’t be there this time and instead of him Reema Kagti will be taking up the role. Reema Kagti has co-written the show and with her coming aboard as the director, the show will be led by an all-female crew consisting of Zoya Akhtar, Alankrita Srivastava and Nitya Mehra.

The show is likely to premiere in March next year.
