Maddam Sir fame Gulki Joshi supports farmer’s protest: This is undone and injustice to them

There has been a series of protests in Punjab regarding the bill passed by the government pertaining to MSP and other things, to which many celebrities reacted and even supported the farmers.  

Adding to the support of the farmers, Actress Gulki Joshi says “Government ne Sui Ka Kaam Karne Ke Liye Talwaar chala diyaa."

“I believe the farmers are already suffering a lot due to the cartel system in which the rates of the grains are being manipulated in Mandis and also under the burden of  loans. I have also seen one video where a famer specified that the grain was purchased from them at Rs7 per kg, was sold at Rs 150/kg in the final consumer market. So I think this is undone and injustice to them. Adding to all these, the new bill added more to their misery” she says.

Gulki further adds, “As far I have read about the whole issue the Government has said that MSP will always be there but the reason of this whole chaos is the bill not being conveyed in clearer terms and the caluses that are against the will of the farmers.The most problematic thing is Government takes decision be it right or wrong but its not properly conveyed to the people on whose favor the decision was being taken which leads to breeding grounds for chaos and mistrust. In this case the same has happened.”

The actress also states that the most clear solution for this will be a peaceful meeting where all the terms of the bill are made clearer to the farmers and there should not be any clause which should hamper their living.

On the work front, Gulki is known for portraying the role of Sugni in Zee TV's show Phir Subah Hogi and Meher in Life OK's show Nadaan Parindey Ghar Aaja. Currently she stars as Inspector Haseena Mallik (S.H.O) in SAB TV's drama Maddam Sir - Kuch Baat Hai Kyunki Jazbaat Hai.
