Lux Golden Rose Awards

The Lux Golden Rose Awards took place last week and the Fashion Police had one heck of a time patrolling the red carpet. With one spectacular appearance after the other, we were left a little stumped by the glitzy glamour of this red carpet. BollyCurry brings to you a round up of all the best dressed from the night.

Katrina Kaif 
Katrina Kaif walked the red carpet in a floor sweeping embellished ball gown. Kaif looked stunning in this teal Ziad Nakad creation. Although she stuck to her usual, fresh faced, minimal makeup look and side swept hair, the duo perfectly complemented this look making it a stellar red carpet appearance.

Anushka Sharma 
Anushka Sharma looked vivacious in this Shehlaa creation. The sequinned, black, crop top with bell sleeves was paired with a beige pleated skirt. What turned eyes however, was the thigh high slit. Oozing charm and confidence in her stature, Sharma stole the show in this one. She also wore dangling earrings and completed the look with nude ankle strapped heels.

Kareena Kapoor 
A heavily pregnant Kareena Kapoor Khan walked the red carpet in an off shoulder red cape dress by Gauri and Nainika. With hair swept to the side and glowing nude makeup, Khan made sure to make all heads turn. This is probably Khan's best maternity look.

Malaika Aurora Khan 
Malaika Aurora Khan is a sophisticated brazen and she puts it all in her looks. Khan looked ravishing in a sequin gown by Monisha Jaising. The smoky makeup and layered black choker added an edgy twist to this sexy outfit. Khan finished the look with curled hair and golden Zanotti heels. In short, we love it.

Madhuri Dixit Nene
Madhuri Dixit Nene looked stunning in a floor sweeping black mermaid dress by Dolly J. Although the sequin bodice of the dress looks great, we're not quite sure about the tail of the gown. Nonetheless, Nene balanced the look with diamond earrings by Jet Gems and statement red lip and nails.

Deepika Padukone
Thigh high slits seemed to be a favourite amongst the ladies at award shows. Deepika Padukone stepped out in a Ralph & Russo creation featuring a thigh high slit. Padukone looked scintillating in this raffled metallic grey gown despite the simple hairdo, which gelled well with this avant garde outfit. A bold red lip and metallic strap heels completed the look.

The Lux Golden Rose Awards saw the ladies step out in their glorious best. The Fashion Police had a gala time at the show since our stars gave us little to complain about. How we hope all awards shows saw celebrities dress like this. Who do you think looked the best?
