Amazon is all set to present an upcoming half-hourly comedy that is being developed by Whitney Cummings (creator of 2 Broke Girls) and Lee Daniels (creator of Empire) soon. Currently titled Good People, the casting of the show has now begun.
And it already is amongst the shows that are talk of the town as none other than Lisa Kudrow has been signed on to play one of the leads. Yes! That's right. Lisa, as we know, is best known for her role of Phoebe Buffay in generation defying show, Friends.
The show is about three generations of women working in the ombudsman’s office of a college [as they] navigate the current cultural climate, the concept of feminism across different generations, and the struggle to reconcile socially constructed ideas with current ethical views regarding complex issues such as sex, race, class, and gender.
Kudrow will play the role of Lynn Steele, the university ombudsman, who is described as “a tired, mercurial force of nature who finds herself being seen as out of touch by millennials, even though she has been a champion of women her entire career.”
Just even the fact that Lisa stars in it is enough to get us excited and waiting for the show. What do you think? Leave in your comments below...
