Legal trouble: FIRs have been filed against actor Sidharth Malhotra?
Malhotra was recently slammed for mocking the Bhojpuri language on Salman Khan's show.

In today's time, actors have to be very careful with their words. Unlike previous times, they cannot get away with any non-moralistic comment, courtesy the Internet. Recently, Sidharth Malhotra became a victim of one such backlash.
Malhotra with co-stars Manoj Bajpayee and Rakul Preet Singh was a guest on Salman Khan's controversial television show Bigg Boss to promote his film Aiyaary. There amidst the fun interactions, the actor was asked to say few lines in Bhojpuri. Bhojpuri actor Manoj was helping him in the lines; while Sidharth was repeating whatever Manoj was saying.
Sidharth narrated a dialogue in Bhojpuri saying, "Shikar to sab kehu karela, lekin baagh jaisan sikar kehu na kare". After this he stated, "Aisa lag raha ki neeche baitha hua hai, latrine me. Bathroom me kar rahe hain ki kaha hain?".
The latter comment angered the Bhojpuri community and actress Neetu Chandra openly slammed the actor for his remarks on Twitter. Here's what she posted:
Now, in an interaction with Hindustan Times, actor and Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari was quoted saying, "Main shock hua sun ke. Aur yeh bahut hi apattijanak hain aap kisi 22 crore logon ki laguage ko aap is prakar se bolo. It's a big insult for 22 crore people. This is very bad. Main isko condemn karta hoon. We should respect every language of my country. Main sochta tha actor hai, kuch acha karega lekin isne toh bahut hi hurt kar diya . Hume nahi lagta log unko maaf karenge".
"Kuch FIR bhi ho jaayenge unke par kal tak, teen chaar jagon se Patna, Benaras, Kolkata, Mumbai mein bhi ho raha hai (There are FIR's being filed against in him in cities such as Patna, Benaras, Mumbai and Kolkata)", he concluded.
However, Sidharth had apologized for his mistake. Here's what he tweeted:

No doubt the comment was distasteful. Why did the makers of the show and the channel allow it to be aired in the first place. If action is taken, then it should be against the channel and the host too.

Sad and pity that he really couldn't understand the reason why people are upset. It's not because you tried speaking new language or he made a mistake trying it. The issue is with what he has compared the experience of saying the dialogue.
