The trend of mythological shows has been extremely prevalent on Indian TV but there has been one problem. Given how many mythological shows have already been out followed by multiple versions of the same coming out too.

It has become difficult to look at fresher concepts in this genre but that is currently being attempted as a never-seen-before story of Bal Lord Shiva. While Lord Shiva's story has been explored earlier, bever has the story of its kid version been dabbled with.

We have been reporting about the many casting updates so far and here comes another one. Apart from the likes of Pallavi Pradhan and many others, the likes of Mouli Ganguly have also been roped in for important roles.

The show was all set to be launched on 31st August 2021 but has now been pushed ahead due to an apparent copyright infringement which has been filed against the makers of the show.

The suit has been filed by writer and mythologist Chotenlal Saini in the Bombay High Court. Well, the scriptwriter has sought an injunction order to restrain the channel from the release of the show. The writer claims to have been the first to conceptualize the idea of Baal Shiv as a serial. However, the Bombay High Court has allowed the channel to continue with the promo of the mythological show with its new launch date, which is said to be September 15. There have been two hearings of the case so far, reports suggested.

According to ETimes, however, the Bombay High Court has allowed the channel to continue with the promo of the mythological show with its new launch date, which is said to be September 15. There have been two hearings of the case so far." Commenting on the issue, the channel's spokesperson said, " Due to pending legal proceedings in the Hon’ble Bombay High Court, we have decided to re-schedule the launch of Baal Shiv, without prejudice to our legal rights. Since the matter is sub-judice we would not like to comment further."
