Lata Mangeshkar's Death Hoax; Family's Official Statement Confirming about her Health

Lata Mangeshkar who was keeping unwell since past few days is now on a road to recovery. The legendary singer had to be shifted on a ventilator following her deteriorating health but now is out of danger and is also responding to treatment.

Her family members have released an official statement confirming about her health.

"Dear Friends. We are as happy as you are to inform you that with all your prayers and best wishes, Lata didi is doing much better. Thank You for being there. God is great.

Last night, various messages on social media and Whats App about Lata ji's death hoax were being circulated and a situation of confusion and panic was being created among her fans and loved ones. However, when the same message reached family members, they strongly reacted to it and shared a statement rubbishing all such Whats App forwards and confirmed that the veteran singer is stable and getting better.

Their statement read: "Lata didi is stable and getting better. Request to please do not heed to needless rumours and react. Let us all collectively pray for her long life instead.

For those unaware, Monday morning (November 11, 2019) turned out to be a dreadful one as legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar was rushed to the Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai early morning after she complained of breathing issues. On being admitted to the hospital after examination and when her condition worsened she was put on a life support.

Lata Mangeshkar's doctor, Pratit Samdani on Tuesday stated that she is "still on life support, her condition is slowly improving, but she is still critical." He added that Mangeshkar is currently suffering from pneumonia, heart problems, and chest infection.

Speaking to Mumbai Mirror Dr. Samdani said, "Unless her infection gets under control, we cannot do any procedures. She is critical. It is difficult to say anything at this moment. We are monitoring her health continuously and we are hoping she will be all right."
