The Coronavirus pandemic has brought the world to a standstill and many nations are trying their best to combat this virus. While the government has taken up strict measures to battle the deadly virus, everyone is working hard to avoid transmission of the novel coronavirus by keeping their surroundings clean. Meanwhile, some are working towards filling the stomachs of the poor who fail to receive a single meal throughout the day.

While everyone has been doing their part in making the ends meet, Bollywood actress Mandana Karimi has been trying to do her best to tackle the food crisis. She stays at Bandra-Khar, has a packed day, cleaning and doing other chores. Now, a report from Times of India, suggested that she’s also doing a good deed, by helping those affected by the lockdown. Mandana has been giving away food and other items made at her cloud kitchen.

In an interaction with the 31-year-old actress, she said,

I think this is the time to step up and not hesitate when it comes to helping those in need. I wanted to be able to reach out to people who were badly affected by the current situation. I have a few friends in Bandra who are doing a lot to help people in need of food. I got in touch with them and sent them the food and whatever else was there at my place. I hope that it can make a difference. I also hope no one goes to bed on an empty stomach and people are able to have shelter during such difficult times. We must remember that we are all under lockdown and that it affects everyone’s lives. So, we must all fight this pandemic together. Let’s not step back lending a hand. Let's stay home, stay safe and fight this together.
