KWK7: Ishaan Khatter opens up on his break up with Ananya Panday; calls her a sweetheart

Koffee With Karan Season 7's 10th episode was filled with fun, laughter, entertainment and of course, lots of spicy revelations and it was multiplied by 3 as the trio, Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi graced the couch.

Well, it goes without saying that your romantic life has to be discussed if you are sitting on Karan's couch and like everyone else, Ishaan was also bombarded with questions revolving his dating history and current relationship status.

But surprisingly, the Dhadak star was quite upfront about it and opened up about his relationship with ex girlfriend Ananya Panday. 

Randomly having a conversation Karan said to Ishaan, you recently broke with Ananya, to which Khatter swiftly replied, 'Did I because you recently said, she broke up with me'. 

He further added, 'I watched the episode, you were rather mean to her, grilling her'. Karan further shared a moment from Ananya's episode and talking about the time when she went on a date with Vijay while she was dating Ishaan. He further asked Ishaan about their current status and are they friends?

Ishaan responded sweetly as he stated, "Yaa I will hope to have her as a friend for the rest of my life. She is one of the most wonderful people I have known. She is a sweetheart and anyone who has met her would say this". He further added that,  "she is very dear to me and will always remain so"

When asked the one thing he misses about his ex, Ishaan replied and said, 'Everything, she's a sweetheart but it's for the better'.

For the uninitiated, Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday dated each other for almost 2 years before their breakup. The two also shared screen space in the film Khaali Peeli after which they got more close.
