The talk of the town for the past couple of days has been the official union of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, as the couple held their roka ceremony and everything was made official.

However, post the happening, some people went on to mercilessly troll Priyanka for A. Finding a partner who is not an Indian and B. The massive age difference, where Priyanka is 10 years elder to Nick.

This was certainly not taken well by actor Kushal Tandon among many others, who pointed how shallow some people are, and they just can't fathom strong independent women who break stereotypes-

Strong independent woman my foot!! We all know how she got to the top and what kind of sacrifices she made in order to get there. It's common in the show business to make those sacrifices. Especially for women who want an easier way to the top. And about the age difference, Nick admitted once that he's into older women so there's that. Priyanka obviously chose him because no Indian man would wanna marry her after looking at all the "sacrifices" she made in Quantico.
